Overview
Following the success of our clients' previous house type range, Hope Homes Ltd asked us to bring a refreshing new perspective to their contemporary housing product so that they could appeal to a broader spectrum of homebuyers.
The brief sought to produce a fresh, simple, modern range of six house types that catered for and reflected the demands of everyday modern family life.

Hope Homes Scotland appointed us to develop designs for a new range of house types to replace their existing core product.
Having extensive experience working with domestic clients, we designed the range to reflect what we found was most commonly requested by prospective buyers when purchasing their homes.
We worked closely with the client to identify and analyse the target audience, considering factors such as site location and amenities. The new development was designed with a family demographic in mind.

Materials and finishes
The site promotes individuality through the pastel colour palette which appears on panel features across each house type. The introduction of these coloured cladding panels injects vibrancy into the streetscape and provides an element of identity for the wider scheme.
Large doors connecting with the garden provides access to combined internal and external living, maximising natural light within the kitchen and living spaces.

Outcome
The final design concept comprised a range of spacious open plan layouts with crisp, clean exterior treatment.
The product was developed primarily for a site in Kilmaurs, The Botanics, which was completed in 2018 with the intention of using the designs for future developments elsewhere.
